This low-profile surface-mount detector base is designed for use with addressable fire detectors and supports flexible installation on a variety of standard electrical boxes.
The base features clearly marked screw-clamp terminals for convenient field wiring and includes a locking mechanism to help prevent unauthorized detector removal. The larger mounting base also provides extended coverage around recessed back boxes.
