Gas Fire Suppression System
Fast Suppression. Protection for Critical Assets.
SYSTEM RELATIONSHIP
- Detection / release control
- Agent storage / piping
- Protected area / nozzles
Functional relationship only. Configuration, interlocks and compatibility require project-specific technical confirmation.
A gas fire suppression system integrates fire detection, releasing control, agent storage, distribution piping, and discharge nozzles into a complete special-hazard fire protection solution.
When a fire is detected and the required release conditions are satisfied, the control system initiates the alarm and release sequence. Following the required interlocks and safety actions, the extinguishing agent is discharged through the piping and nozzles into the protected area to rapidly control or extinguish the fire.
Depending on project requirements, the system may use clean agents or inert gases and can incorporate manual release, abort functions, audible and visual alarms, and equipment interlocks to protect critical spaces and valuable assets.
Because certain gaseous agents leave little or no solid residue after discharge, gas suppression systems are particularly suitable for locations where equipment protection and rapid recovery are important.
