Foam Fire Suppression
Specialized Protection for High-Risk Fire Hazards.
SYSTEM RELATIONSHIP
- Fire water / concentrate
- Proportioning / mixing
- Foam discharge devices
Functional relationship only. Configuration, interlocks and compatibility require project-specific technical confirmation.
A foam fire protection system mixes fire water with foam concentrate at the required proportion to produce a foam solution, which is then delivered to the protected area through foam chambers, foam sprinklers, nozzles, monitors, or other dedicated discharge devices.
Once applied, the foam layer helps separate the fuel surface from the surrounding air while providing cooling and fire suppression effects, helping control the fire and reduce the potential for re-ignition.
Foam systems are particularly suitable for high-risk areas involving flammable or combustible liquids and can be configured with different foam supply and discharge arrangements to suit storage tanks, loading areas, process facilities, and other specialized hazards.
